e-GEOS and Ursa Space Systems (Ursa) have signed at the GEOINT Symposium of Tampa (Florida) a collaboration agreement by which the Italian company will provide thousands of radar scenes generated by the satellites of the Italian COSMO-SkyMed constellation that will serve as an important component for the products distributed by Ursa.
The new contract follows the agreement signed one year ago by e-GEOS and Ursa for the distribution of the new and advanced products of data analytics based on radar technology. This agreement has enabled the two companies to develop their respective business in new and interesting markets.
Massimo Claudio Comparini, CEO of e-GEOS and Head of the Geoinformation Business Line of Telespazio, said: “I am proud of the signature of the new agreement and would like to thank the Ursa Space Team for the joint effort in supporting us to achieve our mission which is to leverage COSMO-SkyMed data as much as possible and to contribute further to the growth of new services in new markets where data analytics are at the base of important and economic decisions”.
“We are proud and excited to extend this relationship with e-GEOS beyond our initial success together. As part of our virtual constellation of SAR satellites around the world, e-GEOS is an important partner on our mission to provide the highest-quality intelligence and insights available and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead,” said Ursa CEO, Adam Maher.
